Glass Beadmaking Starter Kit

This kit includes a Carlisle Mini CC torch (CARLPLUS), a dual surface mix torch, using oxygen and propane/LPG, fully assembled with flashback arrestors, regulators and hoses(not shown in picture), and some basic tools.  This kit price includes a 10% discount on all items.

Tools include: AV 2000 Beadmaker glasses, choice of sml or large (152202).  Mandrels, packet of 10 (MANSS32).  Bead Release, 225 grams (BRAM).  Graphite pad, 6" x 6" (302614).  Graphite paddle 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" (300300).  Rod rest - holds 10 rods or tools (329125).  Tweezers 10" blunt end smooth (321855).  Disk nipper, glass cutter (330411).  Tungsten bent rake (307132).  Bead cleaning file (DF03).   This kit does not include a kiln or a digital controller.  

To begin glass beadmaking in your own home or studio, the basics that you will require in the way of equipment is a fully assembled torch (with hoses, regulators and flashback arrestors), some basic tools, oxygen (from BOC or Air Liquide) and propane bottles (as used with most barbecues), a fibre blanket if you do not have a kiln, a sheet of steel or some other fire proof work bench material to be clamped or screwed to the bench under your torch.  If you are thinking you may get a kiln at a later date, you may need to think about a 15amp wall socket to be wired in by the electrician.  There are other things you need to take into consideration, feel free to contact us and enquire.
